The land on Earth has many different shapes. These shapes of land are called landforms. Some land is high and some land is low.

  • A mountain is land that is very high.
  • A hill is raised land that is lower than a mountain.

Example

Mount Kinabalu in Sabah is a very tall mountain. We can walk up a small hill in a park. The sea meets the land at a sandy beach where we can play.
