Building with a set
A building set has many parts, like blocks, that come in different shapes and colours. We join the parts together to build a model, such as a house, a tower or a bridge. We use our hands to fit the parts.

A wide, flat base makes a tall tower steady. A base that is too small can make the tower fall.
Follow the steps
To build a good model, we follow the steps one by one. Strong shapes help the building stand up and not fall over. We must fit the parts carefully so they join well. When we are done, we can take the model apart and build something new. Building things is fun and helps our hands work well.
