Why we need rules
The science room has many tools like glass beakers, magnets and sometimes small lamps. Some tools can break or get hot. We follow safety rules so that no one gets hurt and the tools do not get spoiled.
Important safety rules
- Always listen to your teacher before you start.
- Do not run or push your friends in the science room.
- Do not taste or eat anything unless your teacher says it is safe.
- Hold glass tools with two hands and put them down gently.
- Tell your teacher at once if something breaks or spills.
- Wash your hands after every activity.

- Ask before you touch or taste.
- Keep your table clean and dry.
Being a careful learner
A good science student is calm and careful. We keep our tools tidy and put them back when we finish. If we are not sure what to do, we ask the teacher instead of guessing. Working carefully keeps us and our friends safe and happy.
