Money from other countries
Every country has its own money, called its currency. Malaysia uses the ringgit (RM). Other countries use different money.

Simple exchange
To change money we use a given rate. Multiply to change foreign money into ringgit; divide to change ringgit into foreign money.
Worked example / 例题
If SGD 1 = RM3, then SGD 2 = RM3 × 2 = RM6.
If USD 1 = RM4, then RM12 = RM12 ÷ RM4 = USD 3.
Remember / 记住
- RM means ringgit Malaysia.
- Foreign → ringgit: multiply by the rate.
- Ringgit → foreign: divide by the rate.
