A point (5, 2) is 5 across and 2 up. A ratio can be simplified: 4 : 6 = 2 : 3. In proportion, if 3 books cost RM15, then 1 book costs RM5.

- Equivalent ratios show the same relationship (4:6 = 2:3).
- Find the value of one, then scale up or down.
