A body full of teamwork
Your body has many systems, and each one has its own job. But no system works alone. They team up and help each other so your whole body can work well. This is called working together.
Key idea
The skeletal system and muscles work together to help you move. The breathing system takes in oxygen, and the blood circulatory system carries that oxygen to every part.
How they connect
When you run, many systems act as a team. Your bones and muscles make your legs move. Your lungs breathe in more oxygen. Your heart pumps blood faster to carry the oxygen to your busy muscles.
- Bones + muscles → movement.
- Lungs + blood → oxygen delivery.
- The nervous system sends messages to control it all.
Think of your body as a football team. Each player has a special position, but they must pass the ball and work together to win. In the same way, your systems share oxygen, food and messages so that you can play, learn and grow every single day.
Remember
- If one system is unhealthy, other systems can be affected too.
- Rest, good food and exercise keep all systems working well.
