What is loyalty?
Loyalty means being true and faithful. Showing loyalty to the King and country is very important in Malaysia. In fact, the second principle of our Rukun Negara is Loyalty to King and Country (Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara).
How can we show loyalty?
Even as young students, we can show loyalty every day:
- Stand up and sing the national anthem, Negaraku, with respect.
- Respect the Jalur Gemilang, our national flag.
- Follow the country's laws and rules.
- Live peacefully with friends of all races.
- Study hard to help build our nation.
When we honour the King and love our country, we help keep Malaysia united, peaceful and strong for the future.

- Sing Negaraku and respect the Jalur Gemilang.
