Mixed units can be written as one unit: 2 kg 500 g = 2000 g + 500 g = 2500 g. And 750 cm = 750 ÷ 100 = 7.5 m.

- Convert everything to the same unit before calculating.
- 1 km = 1000 m · 1 kg = 1000 g · 1 L = 1000 mL · 1 m = 100 cm.
