We solve area, perimeter and volume problems.
For a rectangle: area = length × width, perimeter = 2 × (length + width). For a solid: volume = length × width × height, in cubic units (cm³). A cube of edge 3 cm has volume 3 × 3 × 3 = 27 cm³.
Remember
- Area: cm² · Volume: cm³.
- Volume of a cuboid = length × width × height.
