Leaders we are proud of
Each of Malaysia's Prime Ministers has helped the country grow. We remember them with special titles for their great contributions.
Great contributions
- Tunku Abdul Rahman — Bapa Kemerdekaan (Father of Independence). He won independence in 1957 and helped form Malaysia in 1963.
- Tun Abdul Razak — Bapa Pembangunan (Father of Development). He introduced the Rukun Negara and the FELDA land scheme to help farmers.
- Tun Hussein Onn — Bapa Perpaduan (Father of Unity). He worked hard to bring the races together.
- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad — Bapa Pemodenan (Father of Modernisation). He shared the idea of Wawasan 2020 and built the famous Petronas Twin Towers.
