Three simple tenses
- Present: happening now or regularly — I eat.
- Past: already happened — I ate.
- Future: will happen — I will eat.
Key idea
The simple present shows actions now/regularly, the past shows finished actions, and the future (will) shows actions to come.
Remember
The future tense uses 'will' before the verb.
